In Siberia, scientists found frozen carcasses of a baby mammoth that had intact liquid blood, with lots of nearly complete DNA that could be cloned. Scientists can already clone animals; they can clone your dog it if dies! Wooly Mammoth descendants are still living – think of the Asian Elephant. There could be some risks to bringing the wooly mammoth back. It might be aggressive and crush your house. And also, it might hurt the Asian elephant species. And they like to live in herds, and so they might be lonely. And it might hurt other ecosystems. So, there might be good things and bad things about bringing back the wooly mammoth.
